Mahlon was his name. He lived a long life full of love & happiness.

 

These rose beads were made from a group of mixed petals of maybe 4 roses- white, yellow, red, and pink from Mahlon’s funeral.

 

Kim, Mahlon’s daughter, gave me the rose petals to make her mother a necklace.  I combined Andalusite , Smokey quartz, and brass to make this delicate looking necklace.  Andalusite is a calming stone while the smokey quartz helps in healing grief …then there is brass, a metal that gives boldness & courage to the wearer.
